Advance America Cash Advance Centers, Inc., the parent company of NCA National Cash Advance (Canada), ULC, d/b/a National Cash Advance, first opened in November 1997 and grew to over 800 locations in the United States in a period of only two years. In October 1999, Advance America enhanced its national presence by acquiring over 500 National Cash Advance locations in the US and converted most of them to Advance America centers. Through this combination of acquisition and new store openings, the company's national growth continues today. As the largest provider of cash advance services in the United States, Advance America currently operates over 2,800 centers across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
